1950: The origins

D’avino was founded in 1950 by Mr. Pasquale D’avino and began by transforming military transports and war materials as well as repairing and transforming cable excavators.
Unit the end of the 1950s , our activities remained more or less unchanged and successively we began the planning , designing and assembling rock crushing equipment (some of which are still operating in our territory).
The buyers of this equipment were also using giant earth moving machines: Our first contacts with the manufacturers of these machines were born in this way and in the mid 1960s we began selling of these machines typically used in quarrying.
It was a noteworthy success and soon , given the great trust and security of D’AVINO clients, our commercial section grew almost to the point of absorbing all of our company’s resources: In fact , for almost 25 years the company remained as one of the most important reference points of our territory.
Prestigious brands have accompanied the D’AVINO name in the thirty years, one above all, the Bobcat (since 1975), which still today , in some areas, is exclusively with D’AVINO.

1975: Return to origins

Manufacturer Origins.
Production is restarted focusing on a typically Italian product: the concrete mixer.
One machine , the D’AVINO, that was to respond to new demands for compactness, agility and simplicity that the market demanded.
The first response was the PD2200 SUPER A 1500lt concrete mixer, mechanical , simple, truly compact.

1978: The slewing drums is born

Market observations call for a more beneficial, affordable and productive machine :our response was our first ROTATING DRUM CONCRET MIXER the PD 2800 MASTER.
The only 1500lt rotating drum machine on the market.
Again : the only one with the bucket completely independent from the rotating pad, connected to the main frame of the machine in this way absorbing all the loading operation stresse.

1983: Small but great: the “Prima” is born

Agile and sprightly , the small but great first truly mini-concrete mixer is born in two versions, 800lt and 1100ltwith a mechanical transmission and only two posterior steerable wheels.
Planned and designed like the biggest , it’s not a dumper transformed into a concrete mixer, but a true small concrete mixer.

1984: The year of the “Flagships”

3000 MASTER and ADMIRAL3 were our true response for compact machines:
1900mm wide,
4500mm long,
Great yield in little space.
Rotating, agile at any construction site, and above all easily transportable.

1985: The product line is completed

During this year we introduced the 2000lt, super compact, rotating, and with a hydrostatic transmission.
The 2900G is the completion of the product line that offers machines from 0.5, 0.8, 1.5, 2.0, 2.4 mc.

1993: Change, the “Mix 4 Project” is born

The Mix 4 project is the synthesis of over 40 years of active work of our company in the field of machine construction for building and earth moving.
The MIX 4 project responds to the most natural demands of the workers in the above sectors who always want more modern, reliable, simple, and above all functional and comfortable machines.
Everything respecting the environment.
The MIX 4 project team thought up , studied , and designed machines of high reliability equipped with vanguard components;
Simple because this concept has always helped our projecting activity;
Functional because once again , one operator performs and controls all phases of concrete mixing with maximum comfort.
The MIX 4 project equips concrete mixers with intake or turbo motors , two or four wheel steering, hydrostatic or mechanical transmission, scraping or biting bucket loading systems.
A sequence of options that are the real answer to all demands of a qualified clientele.
